Have you ever heard of Human Design?
Lately, it seems like everybody is talking about it.
Everywhere I go, Human Design seems to be popping up
On Instagram, on podcasts, hell, even business coaches are starting to talk about it.
But what is it?
If you are a little curious, you probably already checked out your human design chart. And if you’re anything like me, you were probably left confused by all the signs, lines, drawings, and shapes.
Honestly, it’s some weird sh*t.
But if you take some time to really learn and understand this system, you’ll start seeing why it’s all the rage lately.
When you start understanding your chart - or rather your bodygraph- you cannot help but be amazed at how accurate it is. It’s like opening a door to your soul. Yep, it’s crazy.
But wait, let’s back up a little.
What is Human Design?
Human Design is a system that brings together principles from eastern and western astrology, the Chinese I Ching, the Hindu-Brahmin chakra system, and the Judaic Kabbalah and quantum physics.
You can get your chart (it’s actually called a bodygraph) here. All you’ll need is your birth date, time and place to get all the information on your design. Don’t worry if it’s means nothing to you at first, that what I’m here for.

Human Designs Energy Types
The first thing to learn when it comes to Human Design is the five energy types.
This is the most basic concept of Human Design and that’s where we’ll start.
There are 5 Human Design types: Manifestor, Manifesting-Generator, Reflector, Generator, and Reflector.
Energy types are the most important thing to know about Human Design. It is by discovering your energy type and embodying it, that you will create the biggest changes in your life.
Energy types help you understand the way that your energy interacts with the energy around you. This can be in social interactions, in relationships, in your career or even in events that cross your path. When you are living in alignment with your energy type, you will find yourself in flow, ease and abundance. However, when you are misaligned you will mostly experience frustration and resistance.

Human Design Projector: What you need to know
Projectors are a non-energy type and they represent around 20% of the world’s population.
People with this energy type are considered the wise guides of humanity and leaders of the future.
They are deeply tuned in to the world that surrounds them and they are here to act as guides.
…But only once they’ve been seen and recognized as such.
Projectors have the gift of seeing the potential in those around them and helping them manage their own energy.
They are also talented at identifying systems or patterns and making them better and more efficient.
However, to be in their zone of genius, Projectors need to “wait for the invitation”.
As a projector myself, I know that this can be a pain, especially when you don’t really understand what it means.
Projectors need to be recognized as guides before trying to help others. No waiting for the invitation, meaning going and making life happen for them by giving out guidance to others without being invited to do so, will most definitely leave them bitter and frustrated.
To avoid this, and to live their design, Projectors need to embody their gifts. By doing so, they become magnetic. People must see them and see what their special talent is. This is why Projectors are not here “to do” they are here “to be” and then to guide.
The Projector’s goal is to reach success and this can only be accomplished once they are recognized for their talents.
Energetically, if they were animals, projectors would most definitely be cats.
They are not here to work in the traditional sense and need to rest often to replenish their energy levels. They’re very good at being rather than doing.
In our societies, where hustle culture is still very predominant, Projectors can feel like they need to work hard to make things happen. This deep conditioning may make them feel like they need to act and push and work always more. However, this goes against their energy type. Not only will they not be successful with this strategy, but it may also leave them feeling depleted, undervalued and completely burnt out.
As a result, Projectors need to learn to not work and do in the traditional sense and respect their need for space and rest.
Human Design Projector: Strategy
In Human Design each Energy Type has its own Strategy.
A strategy is what you must do or how you should act to remove resistance and frustration in your life.
In the case of Projectors, their strategy is to “wait for the invitation”.
In other words, Projectors must be recognized for who they are and their talents before going around and guiding others.
Waiting for an invitation does not mean that you should sit around all day and wait for things to fall into your lap.
No.
While waiting for the right invitation, Projectors need to be seen.
They can make themselves visible by talking about their unique expertise (social media is amazing for this!) and embodying their unique talents. By sharing their unique gifts with the world, they become visible which creates magnetism. People who resonate with what they have to offer will be attracted to them easily. This creates the space for the right invitations to come their way.
